My Story…

My love for media production started at a young age, as it was introduced to me through my grandpa, a passionate photographer who opened his own business in the 1950s. That business was Jim Jernigan’s Studio. The brick and mortar was an actual photography studio where my grandpa worked with companies and local families. On the company side, my grandpa would photograph products, services, and professional headshots. On the family side, he would serve thousands of households to artfully create portraits that would eventually be proudly displayed in the living rooms of many Central Florida homes.

I remember spending so much time in my grandpa’s studio as a kid. I can still smell the chemicals used to develop the film that would eventually be projected into varying sizes of prints. My grandpa was such an inspiration for me, I decided I wanted to be a photographer too. It’s been 15 years since I purchased my first professional camera. Since then, I’ve expanded my interests into several forms of media production as I work behind a camera lens. Carrying on my grandpa’s legacy, I aim to share my experience with businesses and families that need help bringing their creative ideas to life.
